What sort of creative satisfaction is there to be had in the uninspired drudgery of staying in the lines drawn by someone else?

There are two main types of people who “color outside the lines” on a regular basis: Those who don’t wish to be constrained by some predetermined path, and those who simply lack fine motor skills.

Obviously, beyond the age of six, the latter becomes a bit of a worry. The former, on the other hand, is something that far more of us should strive to emulate…
